Our Story: Un Cafecito comes from something I grew up with.
In my family, it didn’t matter if it was 9 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, or 10:30 at night. If someone stopped by, one of the first things you’d hear was:
”¿Quieres un cafecito?”
It wasn’t really about the coffee.
It was a way of saying, “Come on in.” Pull up a chair. Stay awhile.
My parents always had their doors open to family, friends, neighbors, and whoever happened to stop by. Some people came over for a quick visit and ended up staying for hours, talking, laughing, catching up, and sharing stories over a cup of coffee.
That’s what inspired the open door in our logo.
It’s a reminder of those moments and the simple idea that everyone is welcome.
To me, a cafecito has always been more than a drink. It’s a gesture of hospitality, friendship, and connection. It’s a way of slowing down and enjoying the company around you.
That’s the spirit behind Un Cafecito.
Good coffee.
Good conversation.
An open door.
